Pastor accused of domestic violence

I don't know what to say. What kind of jerk hits his wife? Do they teach this as a disciplinary method at seminary?

A Daphne pastor was arrested Wednesday after a quarrel at his home, police said.

The Rev. David C. Harrison faces a third-degree domestic violence charge, according to Daphne Police Capt. Daniel Bell.

The 45-year-old pastor of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church on Main Street was arrested about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday after his wife suffered an injury to her hand and called police, Bell said.

I hate to say this, but domestic violence happens everywhere, no matter age, religion, sex, race, etc...

Pastors as well as others in leadership positions are held to higher standards, and as well they should. But people are people nonetheless and you end up with fights over stupid shit. This case sounds like another one. I am not absolving the man, but surely it could be worse.

I always try to see things from all perspectives. This one just sounds like another DV case, regardless if he is a pastor.
